An Email from a Justice and Anti Corruption Party Candidate for East Hampshire

Note: A few weeks ago, this candidate had his car firebombed after a parish council meeting in Greatham almost certainly by select people mentioned in this email.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that Damian Hinds will be lobbying for your votes at a meeting in Greatham School tomorrow evening at 8pm. It would be a very good time to ask him a few questions about his attitude to Fern farm, and to the dangerous traffic conditions on the road outside the houses built in the Queens car park. But to help you ask them let me summarise how Mr Hinds and his Conservative friends have been involved in Greatham.

Attached is Damian’s cv, from one of his own publications. Just above it he says that “Of course my top priority is to represent and work for the interests of the people of East Hampshire” Oh yes, well let’s see.

Damian’s cv says that he was Strategy director for brewers and pub company Greene King from 2005-2007. Perhaps he provided consultancy services before then. He rather forgets to mention the company he was a director of from 2001 to 2003, and whose leading director lived, and still does live, near Liphook. And that this director’s partner had a business in Headley Downs. Mrs Hinds as she now is lived in Headley, with her parents, who I think still live there.

Of course Greene King owned the Queens. In fact they still have a charge on the Greatham Inn and an overage for 40 years over the 4 acres behind it. Greene King also own the Royal Anchor in Liphook, and no doubt quite a lot of other local pubs. Greene King is based in Bury St Edmunds, as is David Coventry, David Onslow’s accountant and one of his executors. The others are his solicitor and our District Councillor. David Coventry is a partner in Stoy Hayward.

Back in 2001 Greene King applied to put two houses on the Queen’s car park. At the same time the owners of the Silver Birch applied to demolish the Silver Birch and cover it with houses. John Foote-Forster was involved with this application. One application was refused and the other withdrawn. Then Greene King got together with the Silver Birch owners and put together their combined scheme to develop the Silver Birch site and use the profit to refurbish the Queens. Except that this was done by offering a reduced price to the purchaser. I am told, but have no proof, that Mr Foote-Forster devised this scheme.

But in 2002 this scheme was rejected by EHDC. But the following year, 2003, it was revived when a company called Comparo Ltd, bought the Queens (but still with a charge in favour of Greene King) and took an option over the Silver Birch dependent on getting planning permission for lots of houses. The only change to the scheme was that now four houses would be built on the Queens car park instead of two, so that Greene King, or Comparo would make a bit more money. Comparo Ltd has one director and one shareholder, Susan Jill Parkinson, but she calls herself Jill or Gill. She is the lady who David Onslow told me was his daughter, or he thought she was. David Onslow formed a company called Glow Nollis Ltd in 1997 just after Jill or Gill came down from Preston to work for a property company in Alton. By a strange coincidence Glow Nollis is an anagram of Gill Onslow.

Anyway you will recall that Greene King withdrew the application for the two houses and lo and behold Comparo succeeded in the application for four houses and for 14 houses at the Silver Birch. And then Comparo sold the Queens to Neil Savage with the discount to do the refurbishment. Neil Savage had a pub over in Kent, where he had some work done for him by someone called Richard Onslow, who happens to be the son of David Onslow, but not Judy.

Neil Savage had previously had a string of pubs which were financed by a pub company called Greene King. He sold this chain to Punch in 1997, but remained a director until 1999. The deal was done at the Baker Street offices of Stoy Hayward. The ones which David Onslow usually used in 2002. And what a coincidence in 1996 a company was incorporated with its registered office at the same Stoy Hayward office. Its name was Signalgrasp Ltd and its company secretary was, and still is, John Foote-Forster! Of course it’s now called Knightsbridge. In 2000 while still called Signalgrasp, the company bought a couple of fields behind Wolfmere Lane from a lady called Anne Thorne. She was forced to sell them at a low price because they were partially occupied by a man called Danny Shea.

Carrying on at the Queens, now called the Greatham Inn, there were a series of agreements between Greene King, Enterprise, Neil Savage and Comparo between 2005 and 2007, when a young man called Damian Hinds was apparently its strategic director. I have copies of all these documents. The main one was dated 5th December 2005, and the young man was a registered director of the Greene King property company at that date. He was also the strategic director at the time of the South Planning meeting in 2005 when planning permission was given to cut into the bank over the SPB to squeeze four houses in, leaving no room for parking. And he was also strategic director in 2006 when suddenly one day a digger from Williams of Bordon appeared and devastated the bank, killing the protected slowworms who were running across the car park. When it was pointed out that no work could begin at all until a landscaping scheme had been submitted and approved in writing, Mrs Julia Mansi, the Area Planning manager said that she had waived this condition over the telephone!

Exactly the same thing happened at 1 Kingshott Cottages (still owned by Foote-Forster) in September 2007. Does anyone see any similarities with Fern Farm?

So please can some of you get to the meeting tomorrow and ask Mr Hinds some questions:-
e.g. What does he think about what is happening at Fern farm?
And what about the traffic dangers at the Greatham Inn?
And did he ever have the pleasure of meeting David Onslow?
Or how long has he known Judy Onslow?
And what does he think about Jonny being stopped and given an official caution for riding his bike with a bucket on the handlebars?
But apparently you can shoot a pig in broad daylight, and threaten to wound me, and nothing happens. But in his Feb 2010 magazine Damian says “People in East Hampshire rightly value our dedicated police”

Regards to all

- People -
Judy Onslow -East hampshire Council
John Foote-Forster - Convicted Paedophile, and crook
Danny Shea - Foote-Forster’s little dog. Doing the dirty work

So what’s been going on?

Our awesome little house in Greatham has been sold and may have to move out… sucks a little, but these things happen (a lot it seems…) and there may be a chance that the new landlords will rent to us. Fingers crossed eh!? **UPDATE** - While this blog post was in draft, the new landlord has decided to keep us in the house until such time that we wish to buy.

I’m also dead proud that my lil’ sis has found her calling.. it’s seems this fashion malarkey has really lit a fire under her and she’s kicking ass all around UCreative Uni.

Rugby is going well and really enjoying it this year, my dissertation code is all finished (oooooh yea)…

As per the XKCD cartoon… myself and the lovell crew decided to partake in a couple of nice civil games of Roller Coaster chess when visiting a certain theme park in Staffordshire.

I will write more… I promise.

Coaster Chess… Enjoy.

Let me start from the veeeerrry beginning.

3 Years ago.. my friend Andy and I, decided to make a podcast whilst in the uni canteen to kill a few hours during lectures. The podcast named “Breakfast With Jim and Andy” gained few listeners, was painfully boring to listen to, and contained a lot of “canteen sounds”. It was dire, but we learned a lot from it (mainly that we enjoyed this podcasting malarkey)

Cue… the Stikitt Technology podcast…

Nice quiet room, microphones, mixers and a shiny Apple Mac to edit it on.We had some phone interviews (Including LUG Radio’s Jono Bacon, Micosoft’s Stephan Lamb… and a text interview with Richard Stallman)
People around the Uni campus tuned in, and it was far more entertaining than the old shit we were churning out. The problem with the Stikkit podcast was that because I was using my company name for this thing, we were constantly worried about being sued and couldn’t let rip on companies for doing stupid things and had to tone the banter down.

For the last year, myself, Andy and others have been talking about starting the podcast again… we have the technical know-how, got the do’s and dont’s of radio down, and just needed a format that allowed us to say whatever we wanted. With the untimely end of LUGRADIO… we realised we had to get our asses into gear - the world needed another podcast that wasn’t just people agreeing with each other (why I find TWIT, Linux Action Show etc.. a tad boring)

So we had this idea… what if there was Top Gear… for Computers.

Welcome Top Geek.

We will be recording first week of September… Video and Audio… we have some *really* cool stuff lined up… including Top Geek challenges that will (hopefully) give you all a few laughs.

For anyone that is looking for a podcast to listen to… I’ll take this opportunity to plug the Ubuntu-UK podcast. If you’re into all things Ubuntu… listen to it!!!!! It’s very light hearted and good fun to listen to - Popey and the gang do a great job on this, a great contribution to the Ubuntu in the UK.
